It's episode 200 of It's a Gundam! And to celebrate... we watch episode 13 of Reconguista in G and do a normal episode on it. Klim Nick is up to his usual shenanigans, Mask is even more amused than he pretends to be, and Belri gains the power to summon Mario Kart levels. Seriously, G Reco is bonkers.

You'll never believe what this episode of Reconguista in G has! Characters! Factions (so many factions)! Plot, interrupted by sudden action (so much unneeded sudden action) and just as you think you're about to get some exposition or context for what's going on... more action!

It's time for movie two of Reconguista in G. The second movie is always the best one right? Always filled with meaningless battles, cutting all the plot development, and making sure the female leads don't do anything, all the stuff we like... right?

The space war begins! It's like the regular war, but with less gravity! Mask has some new toys, Klim Nick has some new toys, and President Zuchini has new toys too! Are you a bad enough dude to buy them all?

This week, the crew of the Megagauna keeps using the word "backpack". I do not think it means what they think it means. Bellri declares his love for Aida, and cheerleaders go wild for a new mobile suit. Also, Becker shows that he's both a champion wrestler, and a champion Captain Hook cosplayer.

This week, Mask dies a horrible death at the hands of gravity (with an assist by Belri) only to be saved by a manic pixie dream girl not before seen in the show! Also, the Megafauna heads south, we learn about what parties are like in the capital territory, and Tyler starts growing suspicious about a certain leader of the Capital Army's origins.

Episode 8 of Reconguista in G starts right where we left off, the middle of a Balloon Fight! Why does Aida's dad think Raraiya is mentally sound? Who will win in a fight between Mask and a Balloon? And where has all of Aida's competence gone?

This week, Klim Nick makes his move on Raraiya, Belri's Mom forgets to go to the store, and Mask gives a speech about what Kuntala are... to some other Kuntala. Will the combination of a motivational sports huddle, Belri not being in the G-Self, and the Elf Bull be enough to take out the Megafauna? And why does it look so.... rubbery?

By the demand of our discord, we'll be watching the Reconguista in G recap movies as we go through the series, starting with the first one, Go; Core Fighter! Is the movie an improvement? What training has Geremy undergone in the hyperbolic time chamber to enjoy Reconguista in G? And, most importantly, have we finally achieved the ability to overanalyze this show in grand old tradition? Listen, or your life will be overcome with darkness!

We're six episodes into Reconguista in G, crossing through the end of the first movie. Is stuff going to happen? Well, we can dream at least, while we also dream about what the word "Reflector" might mean in the future.

Episode 5 of G-Reco has... corefighter shenanigans. Surely that's what the series needs in order to be taken up to a level! Speaking of taken up, will Klim Nick and the gang be able to get to space even with a new, mysterious, definitely not Luin Lee masked figure trying to stop them?

Klim Nick: irritating man who's full of himself, or the character find of 2014? We'll be the judge of that, as he peacocks for Raraiya, negs Noredo, and forces Bellri to pilot a mobile suit... I don't see how this could possibly backfire on him.

Aida's prison clothes, having been deemed insufficiently sexy, have been replaced with an even sexier body stocking. What is imprisonment in this universe? What is Noredo's relationship with Bellri? Why did the colonel model his hangar off Evangelion, and is Klim Nick a genius? Perhaps most importantly, does G-Reco ever intend to answer any questions about anything, ever?

Reconguista in G continues its epic space saga with... sudden cuts to school... and then battle, school than battle and the tower of London, and then a Mobile Suit museum and than there's a murder and... who said this show was confusing?

It's our first episode of our next series, Gundam: Reconguista in G. Is the show as bad as its reputation would have you believe?
