Gundam 001: A View to a Gundam

We're done with Destiny, and we've finally moved on to the much promised Gundam 00. We’re joined this week by Kevin from Jump Start Weekly! Who are these angsty teens, and what does their drunk mom have planned for them? Can it be stopped by a Graham Cracker? And does the episode throw enough proper nouns at us? We hope you'll take the journey to answering these questions and more with us.

Clip Show Hell Episode 2: Martian Successor Nadesico

We're still in hell, and this week, we're watching Martian Sucessor Nadesico! And this week, we're not the only people who have to suffer through a clipshow; the crew of Gekiganger 3 also have to watch a clip episode! This hell is so bad, even the thought of fictional characters having to endure it with us is a comfort.

Destiny Phase 50: The Future Will be Better Tomorrow

We finally made it. The final episode of Gundam SEED Desitny. We made it through Gundam jackings, speeches about identity, Mobile Suit pilots with frustrating mental acuity, Crygali and Savioring. We made it through disintegrated people coming back to life, Djibril and the Destiny plan. What awaits us in the final episode? You'll have to listen and see.

Destiny Phase 49: Math With Laser Beams

We're almost there. The penultimate episode of Gundam SEED Destiny. It's all come to this. Who will do the most nonsensical philosophizing? Who will pick the most nonsensical character motivation out of the hat? Who will be kicked to the moon? And who will set up a pun without even realizing what they're doing? You'll have to listen to find out, and once you do, might as well stick around for next week too.

Phase 48: Punch The Ghost Out of Shinn

It's almost the end of Gundam SEED Destiny! Who's character motivations make sense? Who just kinda seems trapped by the script, marching inevitably into villainhood? Who will live? Who will randomly get their memories back? And who will it turn out has not one, but two Deathstars? To find out, you either have to listen, or watch an episode of a 16 year old anime!

Bonus: Everything You Need to Know to Watch Evangelion 3.0+1.0

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 is coming to Amazon Prime on August 13th, and that’s vaguely mecha related. To help out our SEO, I mean, to help out all of you who may have forgotten what happened in the first three Evangelion movies, we’ve created this helpful recap! In just 30 minutes, you can learn everything you need to know about Evangelion, who said this series is complicated and convoluted?

Phase 46: Clipshow Hell Part III WOW!

WOW! It's Gundam SEED Destiny! A clipshow even. WOW! Remember how this show used to have druggies? Wow, been a while since I thought about them! We get to hear everything that's already happened from Meer Campbell's perspective! You know that's going to be important going forward, because she died last week! Err, spoilers. Wow!

Phase 44: Coordinator Death Cake

This week, Djibril is doing the cooking by the book, as he tries to kill all the coordinators. Is Meer on the moon? Why is Meer on the moon? How many giant lasers did Djibril build? Why are Durundal and Djibril connected by the force? And what does Cagalli mean when she tells a 15 year old girl that she's entrusting her boyfriend to her? All these questions are asked this episode, and we may have even managed to answer one!

Phase 43: I'm So Sorry Meer

There are two Lacuses (Lacopiti) this week, and some how we don't make one joke about Slim Shady! Nor does Geremy make any of the many sex jokes he thought about while editing the episode that he couldn't think of during the episode. What jokes does he make instead? You'll have to listen to find out! Also, a little birdy told me maybe Djibril will have a huge laser, so it might be worth it to listen for that, and a front runner for one of the most disappointing moments in the series too! You don't want to miss that!

Phase 42: Athrun Used Takedown

It's A Gundam is finally back to talk about Phase 42 of Gundam SEED Destiny, A Call For Counterattack. Athrun is back in action, with his new moveset of Protect, Takedown, Slash and Self Destruct. Good thing that, unlike Shinn, he doesn't have to fight any ghost types this week! Can Athrun's limited moveset take Shinn down? And if not, can he convince an emotionally unstable teenager he's being a dick?
